I've only ever really repeatedly seen parts of the one where Luke found out who his father was and the death star was blown up(because dumb engineers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rp8hvyjZWHs).

Not sure about the rest... probably a certain bounty hunter falling into a certain pit, some fatso and a guy trapped in carbonite.

I LOVE Statler&Waldorf! Funniest element of the Muppets for me :hihi:

"I liked that number."
-" I like French Fries."
"I don't get that."
-"Well, you didn't order any."

"Hmmmm...."
-"What's wrong?"
"I can't hear with this hearing aid." - *Said aid drops from the balcony*
-"No wonder, it's too far away. DO HO HO" *Punch*

"That was a sweet number."
-"Yes."
"You want to know something else?"
-"What?"
"I HATE sweet numbers!"

*The chef chases one chicken from the stage onto the balcony*
"Oh no! I hate running gags!"

*Someone takes off from the stage and crashes into Statler&Waldorf's balcony*
"You got it wrong again!" -"Yeah!" "We're supposed to sit up here and throw things at YOU!"

:D

I did enjoy the film, but after I walked out, I started to reflect on how much of it was borrowed from Episode IV.  So many references and plot elements reused. So on that basis, it didn't really break any new ground. On the other hand, it was 1000 times better than the prequels.

Sorry, I couldnt find only the part that is relevant for this topic, so check it out

I had a good moment with that new episode. It was hugely better than the episode 1 and that stupid Jar Jar.
I found the vehicles design better too than those from the 2nd trilogy (I never liked the chrome shuttle from the second triology Evil or Very Mad )
Certainly everything is agreed, we guess the scenario in advance. But the director made a proper copy, incorporating the mandatories scenes from a Star Wars (Desert town, Cantina, etc...). The winks (to the first trilogy) are often crudely brought, but fun to see. I was a little bit affraid to find lens flare effects on every plans, but JJ seemed to put that aside (the JJ's Star Strek was flooded by these effects that I needed sun glasses when I watched one Laughing ). I liked the grain of the film too.

It was a more "nobel" time!
Or, as Obi Van said, "An elegant weapon for a more civilized age."

Lucas had courage to go in an new teritory with prequels, JJ&co made it bulletproof, geek friendly, and in a way a brief lesson in SW universe. I dont like that. But generaly, the movie is ok, and starfighter battles are wonderfull, which is my area of taste....

I was really disappointed with that episode Sad The plot was rather boring and the main actors were terrible imho, as often with Star Wars movies. Also you could feel Harrison Ford was in it only for the big fat check... Some goods moments here and there, and I agree the vehicles looked rather nice. But nowhere near the huge kick I got from the original trilogy or even the satisfaction I got from the second one :smil20: Or maybe I'm too old for this shit now :D ? My 8yo nephew loved it :D !

What I think a lot of us older farts are missing is this movie reintroduces the series to a totally new crowd and is mainly meant to start the development of a LOT of characters. And, of course, it was designed to sell a cubic buttload* of toys and models etc...and it has succeeded.

If you take out the repeat themes part this movie dies. I am pretty sure this movie was meant to tie the old movies to the new upcoming movies while totally ignoring the travesties called episodes 1-3. I personally really liked the movie but not enough to go see it again. That says a lot in terms of my personal opinion of a movie but it should also be noted I rarely go see any movie twice.

Bring on Rebel One in December!

PS: Deadpool is better than EP7 (IMO).

*A cubic buttload is the scientific measure of how many regulation ping ping balls will fit into the trunk of a 1968 Chevrolet Impala without the spare tire in the trunk.

I am just going to say this: This movie makes the prequels look like cinema masterpieces. I don't know what's worse, if the plot holes, if yet another main character who is a blue eyed big chinned british accent girl shouting around how she doesn't need men Rolling Eyes

Oh, young mr. Becnel, we find youre full of surprises!!!
I started just recently... in end of January to be correct, and got addicted Smile, along with my kids, son, to be right...

I saw those few years ago, but since I was greatly dissapointed with Star Wars CCG, I avoided it in a long range, until a local store got those, and I tryed it out..
It is rather expensive hobby in our country, so one ship per month.. although, we have them 15 now scratch , I looks my wife is not counting them on daily basis :hihi:

And your car battle game looks great, what are you making models of? 3D printing? Will check the faceboog page later today thoroughly....

EDIT: I just read you 3D print that Smile

lol! lol!

For my part I loved it. Go to see it with quite reluctance from all i've heard before. But it was a good surprise for me in fact. Well the plot was very easy to know being a rewrite of New Hope. Many reference to it in fact. Love the part where Han and Leia meet again. Got a little crush on BB-8 which is one of the best actors on that film Smile

prototypes are all 3D prints of a CAD model. production miniatures will all be injection molded. factory has already approved the models.

on X-Wing Minis, this is about 40% of the fleet collected over a few years:

I am still pushing my collection in "you gotta catch them all" direction, and then I will try to duplicate (even, now I have few doubles becose of Aces)

Is that @gmail adress pointed to you, I have some questions about the game you are creating.
