| --> DOWNLOAD TRACK <-- --> DOWNLOAD TRACKCONFIGSBASE UPDATE <-- (this update will ensure the correct car config is used) --> HOTLAPS <-- Special thanks go to JP; he fixed Nazareth for us so it can be used in this series. Thank you JP!! He advises us that drivers will certainly have to lower their graphic settings if we have 20+ cars. (e.g. Circuit Detail and Texture Detail from Max to High) Event Schedule (all times given are CET): Sunday September 20th20:00 – Free Practice 20:45 – Qualifying Shoot-out (private session, 5 minutes, 2 flying laps) 20:50 – Drivers' briefing and warm-up 21:00 – Race start (225 laps) Server IP : 91.121.135.76:34200 Server Password : hso98A training server will be running 24/7 (same password). Behaviour on track- as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you. - Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only. - Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race. - Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track. - Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane. Application and Interpretation of the RegulationsThe admins alone are qualified to solve any problems raised by the application and the interpretation of the present regulations. | At 20:00 Paris time on Sunday September 13th, we will be holding a test session on the server. This will be a great opportunity to practice starts and driving in traffic on this very different oval. | |

| Did not realise this was a new scratch made Nazareth version... nice! My Milwaukee setup does not work well here because of that. Will be a fun race, if people can keep their heads cool! | |

| I just did a 90 laps race with AI, and even their level was below highest (becose of my ego ), I noticed few things... It is very difficult to overtake on this track: straights are to short, and corners are really non oval characteristic.. it is very easy to defend a possition, and Im affraid it will provoke some heroic moves among many of us... either attacking or defending.. At this point, I can tell, the cleanest way to overtake is at T1 from outside, if close enough and faster enough, everything else it seems to me as a lottery... it will take a lot of comunication and respect between racers.. maybe even leting to be past and than reclaim the position... I have one question about being overlaped on ovals. Last week on Michigan, after quting, I was watching a little bit the last few racers driving, and there was even told something about it after the race: what can I do when driving behind car witch overlaped me, and Im significly faster (becose of the drag, fresh tyres, etc...), am I allowed to overtake him/her, and am I obligated to move away from the racing line when blue flag shown, even if the driver behind me maybe is not fast enough to overtake me... I dont know if Im clear enough, how can I reclaim my position when drving among racers and Im a lap behind (or more)... I get it while on the road track, or circuit, but here the situation is a little bit different. Thanks | |
