You nearly didn't, if Steven hadn't of crashed on his final 2 runs he could have bumped you out, his pace was looking good enough.
But congrats. See you race day!

Aye, thank you Richard, Jason and the rest of HSO crew, and those involved in the making of USAC
Happy with my run. Evebn with all my free practice runs (except for the ones done with a smaller grille) would have not improved my position.
However, I did manage to loose count of what lap I was on, and was about to complete a flying 5th lap when car got loose out of turn 4.....Then saw Richard ask next driver to go on track, so tried to stop before line, and fortunately hit end off pit wall. sorted
Is the coverage being uploaded somewhere.
And, is it possible for server to be set so we have opportunity to practice starts??

See you race day then! Good job!
The coverage will be uploaded to paddock TV's YouTube in a couple of days I believe Mick.

Thank you to the HSO team for putting this on, I can't remember the last time I've been this excited for a 500 (having that #66 car certainly helps as well). Also, Jason, I've been antsy about the mod coming out since I first heard about it and was worried after not hearing much a while back that it had been scrapped, so for it to come out and then be used for this race is fantastic! This is easily one of the toughest to drive mods for rF1 I have ever raced yet one of the most rewarding when you get it right, so big credit for making something that's absolutely epic

Thanks to all for putting this on. Had an issue with the helmet deal, but it let me run my laps. BTW: I don't expect this to be a problem Sunday, as I was using my laptop as I'm out of town, and it uses Win8.1 and I'm 90% sure that's what caused that problem.
Regardless, I had a really good run going but I just missed the turn in for 3 and put me high enough that I nearly lost it, managed to save it though and opted to keep going. Still I didn't think my overall was bad, I'm solidly in the field.
Now to switch gears completely

My first pole and a good place to get it! Was truly awesome watching the qualifying on Paddock TV. I watched until the Greenes were done. Was happy to see their first laps. I went with my second fastest setup that I was able to successfully run 5 times in a row in practice. This morning I never got a good run in my 44.28X setup. Had I run it I would have plowed into the short shoot wall after 3 on lap 2 as I missed the apex and did not lift but my slower setup could tolerate it. All other laps went as expected.
Grats to all the qualifiers. All the people I was out partying with today were amazed we had a broadcast of this. I will point them to the YouTube video when it comes out.
Thx to all the primary modders on this mod. Especially Jason and Alberto. Just an incredible mod.
Pole baby!
Rocky getting that McClaren B into the 200 club average is amazing! Grants Rocky!

Thanks Mike!
My goal was to get into the first 3 rows and I am very happy with 8th. I am also pleased to have improved my PB in official qualifying.
Looking forward to testing with others this week and to the race itself.
And have to say a very well done to Charlie! Getting that Parnelli to set the fastest single lap is awesome. If anyone had seen him in races a SimJunkies, you'd know this a big achievement for him. He has an extra pep in his voice on Teamspeak now.

Pour ma part, satisfait de ma qualif. Juste un peu frustré de ne pas avoir franchi pour quelques centièmes les 200mph de moyenne, mais je ne voulais tellement pas prendre le risques de finir dans un mur que j'ai un peu assuré.

Yes, thank you all who were there, and special thanks for Jason and Richard for doing all the hard work live
I took it fairly steady, i wasnt going to get in the front anyways, but i was confident i could make the field, so it was a good run for me, altough a bit more nervous than usual due to the TeeVee

Congratulations to the modding and organisation team. Great work. Thx to Konrad from PaddockTV, to have commented alone this long qualy session.
Grats to Mike for your pole. And grats to all drivers to support an event like that. I can't wait to bring all these people behind the Cad', next Sunday.

VOD Time Trial Indianapolis 500 1973 :
Part 1/2 :
Part 2/2 :
Indycar is news for me. Honestly I thought time trial will be boring but not it was quite fun. I can discover all drivers/car. Nice broadcasting.
I have note some mistakes on my picture, sorry for this I will correct it for race.
Congrats to all drivers.
