I'm running #3 R. McKlusky and my question is that am I supposed to be able to adjust tires on each of the four wheels independently?, because I can only change front or rear. I'm noticing others speaking of adjusting only the right or left side which I cannot do? Ummm???

Steven, are you talking about adjusting the stagger or changing tires in a stop?

If you are referring to the pitstops, you might need to scroll with the arrow keys. Some options appear hidden at first.

Right. Art was the first driver killed in that tragic weekend.

@ Steven Duckunue
Looks to me like the default is to change all four tires. You can adjust it to change just the lefts or just the rights or no changes.
Your options are:
LF Tires: no change, stagger 0.5, stagger 1.0, stagger 1.5 RT Tires: no change, stagger 0.5, stagger 1.0, stagger 1.5
For me the starting point at the pit stop is the stagger of my original setup, then I can cycle through all the above options.
I see no option for four independent tire changes.
But really allowing a change to the stagger of lefts and rights makes no sense to me. Stagger is the difference in diameter between the lefts and rights. You don't adjust left and right stagger independently.

Your not Lee, the way rFactor potrays it, it's like your changing the stagger, but your not, your just deciding whether to change the left or right tires for Fresh rubber.
You can only change stagger in the garage menu.
Well that's the way I view it.

Nope you can change stagger in the pit stop as long as you choose a right rear tire with different stagger size.
The ONLY tire with stagger is the rear right, it is useless to change any of the others in garage or pits, there is no effect at all. But unfortunately rfactor will not allow me to create a compound only for the rear right, and insists in me creating one that comprises all four tires each time. Therefore I have to put 3 useless tires there (In that they don't change at all from one stagger option to the next) and you can cycle through them even if it is useless.

Ok, so how do I (when pitting) select a tire to be changed? (Stagger R Rear only) The Garage is the only way I know to edit the suspension/tires, etc. So what is the trick, in detail please... In the garage again it says front or rear, not L or R side so what gives here?

Imho, you should not have to deal with changing tire compound or type of tire at the pits. Just select the proper tire compound for the race that suits your driving style and setup, and stay with it for the whole race. Imho, soft compound would be ok since tire changes do not increase the time you may lose at the pits.

There is only one tire compound.

Yes only one compound. But since rfactor does not recognize stagger in the garage menu, I had to label the stagger options as compounds.

That was what I ment to say. Do not mess with the tires once you got a setup that you can handle.

Clarification -- quotes should be around the number 0 --> Helmet="0"
