For the drivers of the Bavarian MeisterWerke: here is a little base set-up I've put together.

Works well for me but it needs rather neat driving, not sliding too much.

Hey guys, two small possible points of attention. Well, I rest assured that our admins have already looked into and resolved them. But to avoid the unthinkable, I just wanted to briefly note them.

- I'm under the impression that the lights at the pit-exit don't work graphically. They seem to be always green, also if the pit-exit is actually closed. For the reconnaissance-procedure, when driving out of the pits, I would therefore not rely on the lights but only rely on the short text message on the screen during reconnaissance procedure and indicating how long pitlane still remains opened. Only leave the pits once that time starts counting down, indicating that the pitlane is effectively open. If you leave the pits while closed, you get a DQ... before the race has actually started.

- when clicking "Drive", the cars are not actually placed on the pitlane but in the box-area behind the pits. That area extends to both the left and right side of the pit exit. When you're placed to the left, you have to drive a short bit in the opposite direction of the track direction to reach the pit-exit. Even if this "wrong way"-driving is done in the boxarea, rFactor considers this as driving the "Wrong way". And when you have to drive a distance to long to reach the pit-exit, rF gives you DQ for it. This may be a problem during qual when many cars will be online, increasing the cars put to the left side of the pit-exit. I'm not sure whether this will also work this way online, but if so, it may be an issue.

I may offcourse be seeing pink elephants here, but one never knows.

Too bad there is no way of telling if there is someone on the HSO TA server, i might have just jumped in and race ya to the finish.

Normally rFactor, in the list with servers, mentions the number of drivers online in the last column.

Must admit that yesterday, it was past midnight before I actually made it to the server.

To avoid driving the wrong way, I believe that this track allows you to turn straight towards the track and go through the Armco barrier without damage. Only works from the backside. I do believe that the lights at pit exit were working the other night when I was on practicing?

That's top for the "wrong way" driving-issue. Easy to avoid then.

For the lights, I drove out for my reconnaissance-lap yesterday during a race-session on the server. I was convinced the lights were green but got a DQ because of leaving the pits under red. Anyway, it's an easy one to avoid by paying attention to the timer.

If we can drive trough the armco to avoid the wrong way-issue, everything seems resolved then.

Gonna be some great racing.

Thanks for the armco tip About the pit lights we've used this track often in the past and the lights always worked I think, but I cannot check on the server myself at the moment. Do you have full graphic details on Timo ? If not that could explain the absence of this particular texture on your config

I have everything set on high or full, so that not should be the prob. I was probably already half a sleep, when I left the pit .

Anyway, it's a minor thing as it can be very easily avoided by watching the timer in the left bottom corner.

I tried yesterday on the server and all was fine. Could exit the pits without penalties or warning messages, light was green etc

OK. Must have been my mistake. It was late at night .

Non il faut que je m'en occupe, comme c'est une toute nouvelle install le 1.96 il faut tout paramétrer pour le hotlap c'est un peu compliqué et j'ai pas trop eu le temps là. Mais je vais m'en occuper ^^
