F1 1978 Mod Version 1.5

Subject: F1 1978 Mod Version 1.5 Wed 31 Dec 2014 - 15:51

The 1978 F1 mod has been updated to version 1.5. There are too many small updates to list but the main updates are improved ai and 3d springs plus all of the 1978 cars are included in this version.

Before installing delete the folder vehicles\1978-F1

Version 1.5 is the latest released version. Although there is a shader update that Jason did that has never been released.

David - shader version of this mod is on the HSO ftp. Check for your approval then I recommend a 1.6 release.

Mistake on my part! Only the shader optimized car files are currently uploaded. Jason combining them all soon. Sorry for the confusion.

may I ask you the difference between 1.5 and the 2.0 that is used in the online championship ?

i am using the 2.0 to train myself with F1 driving (setup etc), but for offine races should I use 2.0 too or 1.5 is better ?

Version 2.0 has updates from our testing here at HSO so that the cars have more realistic performance, this is just fine tuning not major difference. Also any errors in the graphics and physics have been fixed.
For offline I would also use version 2.0.
