You have the #5 by default because you had it in 2010, but since the #9 is free and you had it in 2009, I guess it won't be a problem to give it to you if you want it

oui, commissaire depuis 1980, mais au poste 121 depuis... 1972 ! date de la création du "nouveau tracé", on était au 89 avant (les 917 et 512, c'était quelque chose là-bas !)
Mon papa est le chef de poste et je suis son adjoint depuis quelques années déjà.

After qualifying, how will we determine the car each rookie will drive in the race?  (those that make the field, I mean)

I think the admin makes up a list, and when you're on top of the list, you choose first.
IIRC the criteria are people the admin likes (first and foremost), and those who read the rules  

At the end of the four hours of qualifying, the 33 fastest drivers will be qualified for the race. The rookie drivers having made it to the field for the race will then be allowed to chose their ride for the race among the free cars still available. They will do so in the order in which they qualified on the grid : the fastest rookie will choose his car first, the second fastest will choose in second.

Ah -- I see.  I was looking at the entry list thread for that info, should have looked at the main thread. My apologies.

Sorry chaps, new job has not left me any practice time and decided to go to Brands Hatch tomorrow for the GP Masters.... So I probably can't make qualifying tomorrow
