My first HSO podium, and it comes at one of my favorite tracks! Start was unexpected with Austin dropping back. Had fun tailing Trevor early, but soon I saw a red Capri looming in my mirrors Austin zipped by me on the backstretch and then handled up Trev a few laps later. The rest of the run was relatively trouble free; made only two minor errors due to concentration lapses. Jan was having a huge battle with Mick, from what I understand. Too bad that Mick was caught out by the half buried tires of death This is an extremely hard track to negotiate traffic on, and everyone was extremely courteous. Absolutely no oh-bleep moments in 40 laps Great race, great turnout. Thank you HSO!!!

Possibly an idea, say 1 in every 3 races is run at the earlier time. But up to the admins

Excellent pics Jason. I think you caught every major battle I saw. I needed 4 more minutes to get Carl and Alberto. Caught them but could not cool the LR tire in time to go for a pass in the two sweeping turns where I was much faster.
Hats off to the new guys. This was a rough track to start out on. Don't get frustrated. It took me a while to be able to even stay in the same ballpark as someone like Tiago.
And speaking of Tiago...DAMN you had that thing on rails. I recall the thought "OK, he has to go wide in the last turn, he can't catch me...son of a %^&*( the $%^er passed me!" And then Richard did too

What Carl said, awesome race with a fight that lasted the full hour. The only times we were more than 2-3 seconds appart was when we took a short break to cool down engines and tires, but inmediately you had the other on the tail. As always it's a pleasure racing with Carl, we gave us room and did some hairy overtaking maneuvers and never even touched each other, the HUD showed always perfect paint in the car The Pontiac had a very slight advantage on the straights, the Cuda switched direction quicker so it was always a challenge to make a gap to the follower before your weakest part of the track. I must try to do a video, it was certainly a fight to be remembered.

Nice first race with HSO-Americas
Great first 1/3 laps hustling Alberto, Carl and a bit latter Mike.
They would blast pass me on the drag strip and I was right back in their tail pipes in the 1st sector.
After many atempts, I realized only way to have a big enough gap before the long straight was to be in front at the start/finish line.
A move around the outside at the last turn and I was in front of Alberto and Carl. A couple laps latter I cleared Mike.
By then Richard and Thiago were way up front and laping at my pace, so I went back to cruise mode to the end.
I need some more tight stuff to keep up with my fellas B-sedans.
Fun!
See you next time.

Enjoyed my first HSO event and historics racing has become my fav with the less downforce and grip, truly a driving challenge. Learned about overreving as I blew engine and suspect too much downshifting, the v8 protested. Hoping to find some speed and run up closer to mid pack next time, will be in March after some traveling this month.
Will add I sure prefer 40 to 45min races, which I lean towards and there are many, 1 hr are just too long for me, so just casting a vote on that. Also, sharing that that I found swapping out my 'Controller.ini' frm a non HistoriX install of the game takes away unwanted FF effects that I don't like at all, so others may try that if not liking HistoriX ForceFeedbk effects.
Also hoping to run some F1 1965 events and will add the DRM vintage mod is the top of my list and hope it appears here @ HSO for weekend or eve. USA time zone racing. Thx for hosting
