1/12 Mini Cooper

If you guys still remember my old post about the Porsche 934 RSR Turbo, you know that one of the next in line would be the 1/12 Mini Cooper.

After all this time, I'm proud to say that is almost finished. Looks nice, really nice, specially the color. Again, I've added some carpet to it since it is standard in my constructions for awhile.

The model is still not finished, but already looks beautiful, so I decided to show some steps since the begining so you guys can too enjoy Tamiya's great models.

Alberto: I was never a fan of Revell models, their moulding is not refined at all, but if it is still on the market, I would definitely have a go with it; love a challenge

Yes the Revell is a bit rough and lacking some detail, but as you say that could be a challenge. For sure it would need some expert sandblasting in the front

My ex car

I can't believe you turned it into an EX-car....

It was getting too old, too many things to fix, that was worthed more than the car's value ...

Easy, when you get a car this old, you never consider selling it, that way you don't care about it's value, so it's always worth to fix it. That's what I do with mine, the older it is, the newer it gets
