Back at home at 10:00, I had only 12 laps to discover the track and of course had no setup, so pretty pleased with my time, which I won't improve since I'll miss saturday session. But the race is long so maybe I can catch a point ir two :hum:

Hey guys

quite happy with my lap. didn`t had much time to practice and never expected to be provisional pole setter. but i think, that saturday will change that definitely. Hopefully start in the third or fourth row.

Best regards,
Mario

My car must have some hidden secret that only uncovers in the last lap. So pleased for beating my PB for 3 tenths

Average driving from me, putting the car to shame.

I keep trying though, but one time I was 4 tenths up then nothing worked. I need to up my game. Greg is showing his talent with the car, I only show the lack thereof.

C'mon David, you can do better!

I see that need more practice, I didn't understand very well those cars yet

S3 not's bad, but need to drop 1 sec per sector in S1 and S2 :aie:

Tiago passed my a setup, but I was on launch of last lap

I see the set is very different to mines, maybe helps a bit and have oportunity to fight at least to enter in last position of grid...

Who knows

I'm just wondering if Victor Alcocer will race this weekend, as the last time he's been online was back on 2nd of March, 2 and a half weeks ago and he hasnt reported absence as far as I know.

I would like to enter tomorrows qualifying and sundays race in the second Lotus 102B if possible? And possibly to the rest of the season too if things work well?

Heard about this league of yours from T. Toikka and have been racing in a league (trellet.net) for the last 10 years (<-just to introduce myself)

Welcome Juha Smile
If Victor doesn't confirm his presence before tonight's quali, you can take part to this race with this Lotus.
But if this car becomes free for the rest of the season, you won't have the priority to get it, a current regular driver will. But then you'll be able to drive the new free car.

First time this season I'm struck with major setup problems. Neutral

In qually trim the car feels superb and if I can get close to my PB then top 10 grid place is possible but everything changes when I add fuel. Car begins to understeer in places and oversteer in others, and going anywhere near of certain kerbs will end my race. I'm lacking aero and mechanical grip and on top of that the suspension is failing.

If I don't find solution to this I afraid the race for me is going to be rather short. Crying or Very sad

I've always dislike the modern Montreal track and this older layout is starting to piss me off as well. Twisted Evil

I didn't expect it, but it seems that the medication has improved my pain a lot. Since the admins haven't given my car to anyone else, I will qualify it tonight. I can't confirm however if I will be able to do the race, as that will depend on how I feel tomorrow Round 5 - Grand Prix du Canada [March 24th] - Page 5 822172

Sorry for joining so late, but last time my hernia gave problems I was a full week almost paralyzed in bed, and three more to completely recover, so i expected a similar recovery lapse. Seems that fortunately this time the injury wasn't that bad Round 5 - Grand Prix du Canada [March 24th] - Page 5 321163

Well if you had seen me at the start of the week you would not have believed I would be able to do some laps today Round 5 - Grand Prix du Canada [March 24th] - Page 5 792110

Anyway, I'm having a problem with the track, namely when going back to the start line (After doing the hairpin and starting the return part of the circuit) I can't see anything due to the sky illumination, the contrast is really high there and blinds me. It's not the sun halo, it's the huge contrast of the blue sky that is causing me problems. Reducing contrast in the monitor doesn't seem to help, as the track gets too dark then Round 5 - Grand Prix du Canada [March 24th] - Page 5 161590

Any idea how to tweak the sky brightness without affecting the track illumination? Round 5 - Grand Prix du Canada [March 24th] - Page 5 822172
