I'm not sure what I should think.....

BTCC:

Qualifying:
Had a way better Q this time around, partly due to not being as stressed to get a lap in as I was the last time we visited this track.

13th overall and 3rd in class was perfectly fine as I'm not very good at this track Smile

Race:
Had a very good start, blasted up the middle but some slow starting GrA cars and some doorhandle action meant I was "only" second in class. I also had contact with Jon which I'm very sad ended as it did but I honestly didn't feel the contact.

I'm terribly sorry Jon Crying or Very sad

Went with hards front which was a misstake as I was way to slow in the opening laps.

Had some nice battles but it was mostly a lonely run except for the few laps me and Vincent (very well done with that Rover mate :D ) until he outbraked himself and I could slip by at Club.

Almost caught Ben in the closing stages of the race but there were 3-4 laps to few for me to do that.

3rd in class and I think 12th or 11th overall is good, given my history on this track.

CATERHAM:

Q:
Pretty good when I finally got the car under control....

Race 1:

Was a nice run. No major misstakes. Got frustrated at one point but I'll leave that to the stewards to look at and make a verdict upon.

Otherwhise not much to report, stable consistent run.

Race 2:

Worse, good start though....

Made a misstake and the car wouldn't turn right after I made contact with the wall on the pit straight.

Just tried to stay on track after that and manged to get a double 6th place from this round, which I'll gladly take Smile

Thanks for tonight guys, was good fun Smile

All was going well for me, until my Logitech Profiler decided to return to the default settings. Which meant an undrivable car because of a 900° steering ratio. I had to go to the pits and quit the race Sad

Nice battle with Pierre at the start Cool

Good result for me but not funny as I thought before race

Qualy: Not's my best point and every race I must recover positions driving constant and without mistakes, anyway, when leaft around 5 mins of qualy and I was on my fast lap someone crash me from behind and loose all options, I tried again, but when I did the mandatory lap and start the good one again (around 10 secs to finish session), one car went out of box without options to made another lap and deconcentrated me, making mistakes...

Like I said, qualy not's my best (fast lap in race 1 sec better), and only was able to win another position I think, but It would be ok to respect all drivers in qualy

Race: I didn't practice a lot before the race, but in start I tried to avoid all problems and try to be constant. I was behind Scaccia few laps but I wasn't able to catch him on this circuit, maybe next time...

Good podium again on a C Class, I'll start to look best positions next circuit

Thanks to HSO and Congrats to all class winners

There will certainly never be love between me and Thruxton, but at least the evening was quite amusing. Managed to qualify under 1.20 for the first time, even if I could not repeat that time again drunken , and went on to the race with no expectations. Made a good start and overtook one escort, but when I saw my good old rival Philippe Martinelli some places behind, I lifted the foot and waited for him. As usual, he didn't dissapoint and we had an epic battle  for all the race, with lots of fun and sliding together in paralell through several corners, millimetres away but never even touching. When we were lapped or had an incident, we waited for each other and continued the fight, cooking the tires and burning rubber all around. I will try to make a video of the highlights of our fight, it was really worth seeing and keeping as souvenir Very Happy When the smoke settled I had crossed the line just 0.04 behind him with a grin in my face like this --> What a Face , even if I was last in my class and got no points pale Another good point is that my knee didn't hurt after the race, so looking forward to the next one :hello: .
