Not much else to say than "bugger" and then walk away.
Was doing allright-ish considering I had been practicing the betonschleife the weeks prior to the event as I didn't know and couldn't see that there were a road straight ahead after T1
Spent Q trying to learn the track and set a respectable time, neither went to plan
During the race I think I was doing allright, was up to 11th at one point, sorry Ludovic for hitting you on lap one into the hairpin, was way to overoptimistic with my brakes and when I realized I was braking to late I didn't think about letting up on it and avoid you and I ended up hitting you and spinning you out. I hope you aren't to angry with me for this
The biggest killer of the night was the curved brakingzone for one of the corners, which saw me get sideways and go into the barrier 3 times and spinning once. And that, with 3 laps to go, only had 2 litres of fuel left so went into the pits to fill up, forgot to set it to not change tires and not repair damage so 211 seconds later, I could go again, and with that a lap down and noone to fight with
Well done to everyone, was nice to see some of the racing. Thanks Ludovic for the battle we had and also thank you to Giuseppe S for our battle in the middle of the race. Was quite fun
Cheers

I really enjoyed both races. I had some great battles with Antoine in race 1, and really enjoyed trying to catch the battle between you and Oscar
Race 2 was a little bit of everything! I had an awesome battle with Alessio, after encountering two other wipeouts. One from 2 Alfas (missed who you were), and the other a very unlucky Peter Blom. Having been fully involved with both incidents I somehow managed to make it through without any major damage! A great battle with Alessio ended when he made a brave move in the first hairpin, which I very much anticipated!!
I can also imagine when me and Peter blasted past either side of you full speed, after your mistake Alessio - must have been scary!!!
This racing is why i LOVE Historix and am pouring all I can into this league!

My pants were a mess after spinning at that corner. I saw you and Peter come into the corner, and I'm moving at around 5mp/h. Didn't know where to place my car, but thankfully you both got by safely!
My overtaking move was purely accidental, I missed my braking spot and instead I was trying everything to avoid an incident Fun battle though, at times I thought I had cleared you only to look to my left or right and find you still beside me in your black Abarth.
First race on the other hand was a disaster. I came into the first hairpin at racing speed, then a yellow flag suddenly flashes up and Arnaud's car is in the middle of the track. Damage to the car, and I tried to pit but unfortunately the pits don't work 6 laps later, and I'm extremely bored and 1 lap down
Anyway, I'll take my 6 points!

Race 1 i got on the server late was having problems with the track it took ages to load started from the back had some really nice fights and thought my way up to 12th ...
Had some great laps with Yves ,Paul and the last lap with Vincent was very exciting ..
Race 2 was a disaster i had a setup all sorted but i found the transformation from the Big alfa to the slower alfa almost impossible i spent all the warm adjusting the setup so i could just complete a lap was struggling with awful understeer ... Literally got a setup i was happy with on the last 2nd of the warm up ...
The race started really well and i took several minis my confidence was starting to grow so i started to push more but got to the start finish straight and hit a wire fence post and boom engine .suspension, wheels all dead ...
It was a shame as i was really getting the hang of the slower Alfa .
The track may have had a few glitches but i love it ... Hope we can race here again ...
Cheers HSO

The biggest boo boo of the race goes to a one Oscar Hardwick, for his very sensible overtake on me and Antoine, with a 30mph speed difference...
I am so damn talented...
That said very nice day for me.
Race 1 : Starting from 11th and 3rd in class. Not ideal by any stretch but in the Camaro I can do no more that I have been doing recently. Anyway, I got a fairly nice start and managed to move in behind Jon and Antoine by the end of lap one and by the end of lap 2 I was ahead of them both.
Me and Antoine ran pretty close together for a number of laps until I finally broke away a little. Throughout the race I think we lost the BMW in class and on the last lap I passed an injured Peter in the Capri. Later that lap I joined in and got a puncture of my own a few turns from the end but still limped home for a win in class and 7th overall. FANTASTIC!!!
Race 2 : I didn't know what to expect at all from this race. Qualifying filled me with quiet confidence but the start of my race said otherwise. Falling back to 3rd by turn one I fought back through to retake the lead going on to lap 2. From there I got my head down and moved clear of JP without too much hassle setting a new pb of a 15.8 along the way.
All said and done this race went perfectly for me and it was nice to be on a more level playing field when I am now used to being on the back foot in TC1 on pace. Still, a double header at a track I really was not keen on. WOOP!!!
Thank you everyone for the good racing and very sorry Antoine for blasting down the outside in the first race. I had my first of many derp moments just then in that race.
See you all next time out.
Oscar.

I feel the incident in the first race was partly my fault, I was indecisive where to put my slow car, sorry
No no! You did very good but I lost my concentration by looking at your pretty car-ass slowing down...the Capri is not very forgiving at late braking and I braked too late so I hit the wall and had a flat left front tire
Some great racing but very disapointing outcome for me last night.
In race 1 I was battling hard with Jon and Oscar, with Christian in the mix at some point. I was much faster than Oscar in the twisty section obviously, but tantalizingly slower in the straights. And since he was powerdrifting like hell in the corners, his car was basically covering the whole width of the road, so no way to go through Impressive driving! Just one WTF moment as Jon pictured above, when Oscar chose the outside to overtake I saw him at the last second but still managed to keep it on the road Eventually with one lap to go I smashed my car on the outside fence in the last turn, how stupid can I be
In race 2 I was considerably faster having got to grip with the track, and started 3rd. Lost a few places at the start, fought back to 4th. And got the better of Gui after a silly scrap, amazing shit! With one to go, in the exact same corner, I was confident I could stay in front even though he was not far behind, but once again I ran wide and disintagrated the car, same corner, same lap
Too bad, but I had good fun anyway, hopefully I can finish a race next time
Well done to those who were fast, and all those who finished

In both races i had too much problems of connection...too much lags...a disaster...that explains all... So i apologize to all...especially to Philippe Marot and Cyril.
