That's nice to hear Ben :D Can't you get something else than the Fondmetal? Although you run in something famous Razz

Okay, the race: I intended to start slow so I don't get caught in any crashes.

Turns out I have a good start and keep my position. Hell brakes loose as Yves has his crash infront of me and I narrowly make it past the wreckage.

After that, I ran behind Alessio(I didn't like him so close to my rear so I let him pass but ended up overtaking him again and again until he spun Razz ) and Tiago, who I was able to overtake as he spun aswell. Mario passed us during that time, ran away by 15s, then pitted and got a DT, and finally spun infront of me at the pit entry.

I approached the car of Mr Senna(Martinelli), but he looked a bit confused as he blocked me a bit, but I kept a cool head and waited until I could pass.

The rest of the race was trying to get closer to Samuli, and then keep 5th when he pitted and tried to catch me on fresh tyres.

I had only one last scare when I blocked my brakes at the last chicane and went through the pit lane :hihi:

But I managed to keep 5th in the end, double points for Minardi once again! :top: Well done to the podium and everyone who finished!

Another points finish with Lotus is nice achievement. Wink

Needed to attack all through the race because there was always someone just seconds behind my tail. Fighting for seconds is serious bisnidz!

Around lap 20 I got proper excitement with my cat jumping on the back of my chair and bumping her head against my headset. Then trying to steal the chair by sitting on my neck, trying to push me away. Had to scream loud to make cat disappear. :D :D :D

I watched the broadcast, and even though I didn't have a clue what anyone was saying, it was still surprisingly easy to follow. :D

I also heard Ben Warren followed by très bien, so I'll say thank you to that. Laughing

No, but I was racing full-time in the cockpit view for the first time and you were so close in my shaking rear view mirror when I braked, so I let you pass.

But I noticed you didn't get anywhere, so I took the position back(I started on boost 1, but by the time I fought you I was up to boost 10) Razz

I wasn't relaxed, nervous puts it right I guess. I raced on B front and C rear, but still was seconds off Greg's time Embarassed , guess he used softer tyres.

I think there were some small errors, did you guys say I didn't score any points until San Marino and that Ben drove his first race? scratch

Oh gawd affraid

You managed to get my embarrassing moment on the broadcast. Dropped a wheel onto the grass, slided too far and, as I knew Samuli was a bit too far away to get me, decided to drive through the pits in order to avoid a crash. And it wasn't a drive through like you guys thought that it might have been :D

But I happy you mentioned that I was coming from P17 on the grid to finish 5th :top:

But next time, I seriously need to be inside one second of Greg, for example in qualifying(Not to mention it will be very important at Monaco). It's getting really embarrassing for me to be so far off, in both Q and R Rolling Eyes

hey be quelle soiree Laughing ffuujjj!!!!!

Well done Anders for this awesone battle together :cowboy: :hihi:

bravo a tous

Not much to say about my race. Starting with full tank (220L), I couldn't do the full distance with boost 10 so after the first few laps I switched to boost 7 for ~40 laps, then went back to 10 until the end. I could have made the full distance with the super soft tires but pitted just to avoid any troubles with used tires. What can I say, I think I had a great setup and I loved the track (yes I like chicanes :D). Monaco will probably be another story.

Congrats all finishers and point scorers :top:
===================

:top:

It was a matter of only not making one or two mistakes and the points were in my grasp. Had a diabolical pace during the entire race; I had the feeling that I was turning qualifying laps (of course I wasn't :D ). My concentration was at 200%, but God of Simracing wanted me to finish 8th again, so that'll have to do it :smil20:

Shocked

No wonder I wasn't that quick, when people are on the softest compound for the race!

It was my 2nd points finish after Brazil btw, and Ben has already started at Brazil for Leyton House. You might have made a mistake on the broadcast, but I wasn't sure. But I was able to understand quite much, still better than having to try French myself Razz
