| Hi Guys, Just letting all you guys know that i think im going to have to pull out of the seasons as i probably wont be able to get a new steering wheel till my birthday (June 27th)
Took my wheel back but because the store (PC World) dont do that wheel anymore (Thrustmaster F430 wheel) they could only offer me store credit, Now only other wheels they do for that price or less are to put it bluntly, Shite! So the best option for me is to wait for birthday time to get a bit of money and buy a G27, I could use an XBOX controller for the time being but i dont know how you guys feel about that, If it is ok to use it, Then i may contest just the BTCC championship if i can get used to using a controller.
Just thought i'd let you all know my situation.
Thanks Richard. | |

| If you want something temporary, buy Thrustmaster's Ferrari GT Experience wheel. £30 or so (i.e. same price as an xbox controller) and, although it's very basic, it works. It doesn't have FFB, only rumble force, and only comes with sequential paddle shifters, but there are a fair amount of buttons etc. | |

| Well, I have a Logitech Momo Racing that I would gladly give you Richard, but I think that the delivery costs would be as much as the price of a cheap one. | |

It was my first wheel. Not best quality, but definitely works. If you desperately want a wheel, you could probably give it a go but I haven't used it for 2 years. I'd imagine the steering to be very light, and probably could be difficult/highly different to your previous Thrustmaster.

| Well, I got the Ferrari 458 wheel........ Like driving with a sponge!! Anyway better than nothing i suppose, My pace has dropped off alot i think (Wasn't anything special in the first place!) The Sierra is quite a handful! So if it may be possible and there is a spare car in the lower classes of BTCC could i take that as im guessing may be easier to drive. No problem Frank if it is a problem, I know you say that car changes are not allowed usually. Thanks for the advice guys and the offer of a wheel Tiago! | |

When I first got my TSW it took some time to get used as the springs are way softer than the FF, but now I would not go back to FF for all the money in the world (Well for that kind of money I would but you understand what I mean ) Just keep practicing, you might be surprised after some more hours ...
