| I. Installation :Extract the content of the archive file in your rFactor root folder. II. Description :Cars :This mod recreates the major part of the Group C1 field from 1987, with cars from the World Sportcars Championship, the IMSA GTP series and the ADAC Supercup series. It contains the following cars : Porsche 962C :The dominant car of this era was maybe not as advanced as the Jaguar XJR-8 or the Sauber C9 on the aerodynamic side, but it was still very competitive. It comes in this mod in 3 different specifications. - The factory specification (3-litre engine, 750 HP and 865 kilos) only for the Porsche AG factory team. A very fast car, close to the Jaguar XJR-8 and Sauber C9, with good fuel efficiency. - A specification for the most important privateer teams (2.9-litre engine, 720 HP and 885 kilos). A bit slower than the factory spec, and with lesser fuel mileage. - A specification for the smallest privateer teams (2.8-litre engine, 700 HP and 910 kilos). The slowest spec of the Porsche 962C, with even lesser fuel mileage. Jaguar XJR-8The Jaguar XJR-8 is the fastest car of the field in race condition. Having a normally-aspirated engine, this car has the best fuel mileage of the field, and should have the best top-end speed on race day, when the turbo cars will turn their boost down. Its linear engine, good braking and high downforce make it a fairly easy car to drive. Sauber C91987 was the year the new Sauber C9 was introduced. It was obviously lacking development, but with a great engine and advanced aerodynamics, it was already a very fast car right out of the box. The Mercedes engine is the most powerful in qualifying mode, but its fuel mileage is quite average. This car is not the easiest to drive because of its brutal high-end torque engine and average braking. Lancia LC2Introduced in 1983 and not factory-supported anymore since 1986, the Lancia LC2 was getting outdated by 1987. It is heavy, underpowered, lacking downforce and not fuel-efficient. Only Lancia tofisi or fast drivers looking for a challenge should consider driving that one ! Fuel and tires :Appart from the Jaguar XJR-8, all cars have a turbocharged engine. This means the driver will be able to adjust the boost pressure in his setup and while driving, to increase or decrease power. This will obviously have an impact on the fuel consumption, as more boost will burn more fuel. All cars should be capable of running for one hour with the boost turned down to 2, but depending on the engine, you may be able with this setting to save some fuel and run with a higher boost setting for a while. Each cars comes with 3 tire compounds : soft, medium and hard. Softs should be good for 40 to 50 minutes of racing, mediums for 60 to 70 minutes, and hards for almost 120 minutes. III. Know issues :Alt+Tab will not work anymore once the Jaguar XJR-8 has been displayed. IV. | Bad timing I guess.
Although Vadim is working on a rather complete one, HSO has done 1987 only? No? _________________ Murray: "JUNDT'S OFF-TRACK AGAIN!" Martin: "That's a replay Murray, he's not even in the race anymore."

| Indeed, really promising stuff from you Vadim That Lancia looks better, even though it doesn't get any faster Shame it's not a factory one, they had the best paint job with Martini _________________ Murray: "JUNDT'S OFF-TRACK AGAIN!" | When I drove Sauber and put on the lights, the head lights were rather bright balls that looked like they were attached to the outside of the glass and the red rear light's shine looked like being far away from the car, the glow "following" the car in several metres distance to the rear.
Not sure about other cars.
Is that normal? _________________ Murray: "JUNDT'S OFF-TRACK AGAIN!" Martin: "That's a replay Murray, he's not even in the race anymore."

Wow, that Sauber is fast in your hands Seriously, it will be some kind of glitch due to not having moved the light animation in the 3D to the proper place. Thxs for reporting will go to the "to-do" fixes/glitches/bugs list. Which hopefully will be short and just of minor things like this. _________________
