| The series is full now, all cars are taken, so you'll have to wild card with the car of an absent driver. | |

| So I will just watch race threads for absentees? This will actually be somewhat fun! | |

| The thing is, you probably won't be alone in that case. | |

In which case how will it be handled, Guillaume? Who will get first alternate spot on the grid, and so on, and so on...

| First come - first served. But you'll still have to qualify the car among the 26 first spots of the grid. | |

| The grid is full now (34 drivers).
There is no "reserve driver" role in this series, either you have a regular seat for the season, either you don't and in that case you will have to pick the car of an absent driver.

| I am sorry Guillaume. A little bit of confusion. You stated I must qualify in the top 26, but there is a full grid of 34 cars? Could I not qualify 34th | |

Could I not qualify 34th If all 34 players qualify only the top 26 start the race. This is historically accurate as they eliminated cars in qualifying back in 91.

FD Hello First, thank you for this great mod and your hard work, it is historicaly accurate as possible, something rare in rFactor. If you want to race with us, first you will have to edit your forum profile with your real name. And I will not keep anybody informed if there are cars available to drive, its up to the drivers to check the forum for that.

Raced against this flying dutchman a lot in public servers after the mod release, he is a beast! hello mate well ive made all qualify setups for each car before the the release so i can find the limits of most cars however a race setup is totaly different and in a underpowered or less team so i cant keep pace as it should be historical still many things i not satisfiy with but maybe we patch this verison someday if my budy duke who creates the physics will be able to do it I can give you guys some advice on how ot tune the cars but simpley cannot swap setup on each cars cause they too different, and most important everyone has a different driving style, some work but many won't and for guys who drive a monoshock car; Tyrrell, Brabham BT60Y and the Jordan only can swap setups but still suffer from hughes differences in race trim , adding gearbox ratios brakes, rideheight etc etc its a very demanding mod to setup a car in racetrim with 220L of fuel and you guys will notice the behavior when the fuel burns off for testing the mod we used all original 88 carrera tracks and now Imola with the high curbs and the accurate layout high curbs is needed but we stuck by srm 90 trackpack cause lack of time Also hockenheim 88 is pefect to drive these on I hope there is a car free for Imola 88 cause that track is a brake and fuel Killer Do i have to confirm in the other blog to add my name as a spare driver?
