Well the rules say you cannot change, but in fact, I do allow drivers who are really struggling with a slow car to switch to a faster car when its possible

If Guillaume is ok I may give my Shadow to Kornel. I'll trade my bad car to another worst car: the Merzario. Will not change much for me I think and it make people happy

Well I hope you tried the Merzario before taking your decision because it's the most awesome dog ever built in simracing
I'd say it's almost 2s slower than the Shadow and is constantly understeering like hell.

I'm a man always driving the BRM in GPL Gui. I've already had a very bad season this year in F1 79. May be a slower car can help me to finish one. Whatever car I take I'll be at back row far far away from anybody with my start bug. So Merzario or Shadow would not change anything to me lingering at the end of race.
And there's worse than that car...the Kauhsen

Yeh the ATS is also free, and "way" better than the Merza

I've found a missing car: the D3. It wouldn't have hurt to have it as it was a bit "faster" than the D2
Also find strange the D2 to be a 6 gears box. Wasn't all cars 5 gears at the time?

In fact everal cars are missing in the mod :

- The ATS D3 as you said, which was used for the last 5 races. But also the D1, used for the first 3 races.
- The Brabham BT46 Piquet used at Buenos Aires.
- The Mclaren M26 Tambay drove one or two times in the season.
- The first version of the Merzario, the M1, used in the first races. After that Arturo bought the Kauhsen and tweaked it a bit.
- And the Alfa 177, used at Zolder and Monza.

About gearboxes, I cant tell you who really used 6 or 5 gears gearboxes in 79, but I know 6 gears gearboxes were used by several cosworth teams

I have the alfa 177, but it is included in the simracing.pl mod, I don't know if you can use it. There is also the Kaushen WK, as well as a lot of new liveries - check it, out one of them

One more thing, because it was said that the Kaushen is the worst car in the paddock. This is the evaluation of the cars by simracing.pl (they use a credit system so you buy cars).

As you see the Kaushen is considered even better than the Ferrari T3. I had an opportunity to see people driving the Kaushen in Zolder and Long Beach, and they were much faster than the Shadows.

lol what did they smoke ? The Kauhsen entered 2 races (Zolder & Jarama) and always failed to qualify, it was totally off pace (something like 4s slower than the Merzario ... )

I just tried your mod, skins look great, better than the original mod. I also saw that some of my files have been used to create it, but no problem. I've been a bit disapointed the see that the Alfa 177 is a "fake", it's just an Alfa 179 skin. But the Kauhsen skin is cool, just to bad they put it on a Lotus

ahh I see now, there is no Kauhsen in the original GPC mod. You created your own, and the simracing did theirs. Ok anyway, I hope you will make some use of the skins..

and the Alfa is indeed the fake, I only noticed it a moment ago..
