2013 F1 1991 @ HSO

Moi je serai partant également, j'aimais bien la F1 1979,pourquoi pas la 1991.
Pourquoi ne pas mettre en équipe un bon voir un très bon pilote (ex: Greg), avec un moins bon, voire un pas bon du tout (moi).
Cela avait bien marché chez Mac Laren 1979 (Greg et moi), et à la dernière course, avec ma Mac Laren très bien réglée (Greg),j'ai pu me battre avec Carl et obtenu mon seul poduim !!
Evidement,le bon pilote dois trainer un boulet !!
Donc il faut qu'il soit motivé !

Entierement d'accord avec Gui... et je trouve que c'est ce qui fait le charme d'HSO...
Meme avec la ligier en 79 je n'ai pas gagné une course, mais je bataillais souvent dans les points et accrochais quelques podiums (quand il y avait des dégats devant).
Cela a surement participé au fait que nous étions nombreux toute la saison ...il est toujours plus motivant d'avoir l'espoir de rentrer dans les points... et voir une Arrows gagner le championnat ne nous a finallement pas "trop" déprimé

Karel, I have used the above so many times over the last month or so it now shows as my #4 most used link. It works well. It sometimes even makes grammar corrections (I can speak some German so I can tell when it swaps sentence structure).

I once was part of ALT79 and drove Clay's Williams, I think it was easier to set up the car than '91, and it took a different approach than more modern F1 mods.

Too many setup options, cars behaviour, etc...

1:46:149 in the McClaren using my Spa setup and hard quals and I am sure there is plenty of speed to be found there. The Gui/Lorenzo crowd can break 1:40 I am sure.

was off a long time due to personal reasons (job, marriage, moving,...). but i am really looking forwart to this 91 F1 season. could be a lot of fun. would be in. really love these 91 F1 and especially the 7up coloring of the jordan.

This is the first time I've seen a simracer from Liechtenstein(or someone living there)

I do too, but it would need to be at least a 2nd tier car.

Yeh well Mario is not even our only member from Liechtenstein ! He and Stefan (Maurischat) were among our most active members during our first seasons ! Which means 0.0055% of the Liechtenstein population is part of HSO . The same percentage of the USA's population would give us 17000+ members .

I did not race the opens but from what little I have tested, the mod didn't really grab my interest. It wasn't "instant love" as f.e. with the CARTFACTOR mod, which I really like. Also, it's a mod that would require for the lesser drivers like me lots of training and preparing for the races, in order to be able to play around with some dignity and not being a problem on the track for everyone.

Wether or not I will commit my scarce time to it for next year depends greatly on what other mods will be raced here. If there is another championship on the alternate sundays that I like better, then I don't think I would be joining an F1 1991 one.

May be i can reactivate Stefan, too. Already told him bout the planned 91 season. So wie would have again half of the people of liechtenstein driving at HSO ;-)
