| I am at an absolute quandary over whether to do this race or not. I have a conflicting race at another forum using the Enduracers Le Mans mod, where I could drive a Lamborghini GT1 at the Silverstone wing circuit. Pros -Love this mod, more than the Enduracers mod -Always am racing closely with someone here, not so true with Enduracers -Last race for this mod at HSO for now, will miss it much Cons -Absolutely no way I can finish this race-can easily finish the other race (only 75 minutes) Will do some testing over the next week. If the kids got invited over for a playdate next Sunday it would help in making my decision, and if I am bitterly slow that will help also | |

| Guillaume,
What says the regulations regarding being classified a finisher for this race?
Running at the end?
Completion of ??% of the race?

"A driver doesn't need to finish the race to score points." Ah-let me phrase it differently... If I drop out of the race before it ends-I am DNF. If I drive into the pits and park in my pit stall when it becomes necessary (i.e. kids are going nuts, wife threatens divorce) and shut off the car. Restart and take the checker-then I am classified. In this situation I was asking if a minimal distance is necessary to complete to be classified.

| You'll be classified whatever distance you cover, that's as simple as that. | |

| Go to the pits, take a "virtual nap" and come back out when you're finished _________________ Murray: "JUNDT'S OFF-TRACK AGAIN!" Martin: "That's a replay Murray, he's not even in the race anymore." | |

| Good Golly!!! I really am not keen on the 917!!! Wish i had stuck with the 902/whatever there called!!
Think my urge for power took over common sense!!! I love the car but man it is a handful, Tried Vincent's setup (Thanks) but his and my driving style must differ massively! Hopefully i can run around without missing a braking point which seems to be my biggest problem with this car, Either locking the brakes up or its pulling to one side when braking, Hat goes off to Vincent to get that good of a time!!
Well done to Mike, You can give me tips since i helped you a bit in spa! Also i echo what Mike said, Great time Carl and for Lorenzo!
UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Truly magnificent!!! _________________

Carl-could you offer some setup tips so my car can be as beautiful? Right now it is not exactly ugly (in other words, you would willingly 'take her home from the bar'), but if I could get it closer to your times she would approach a Miss Universe-like level of beauty... I think I've come to the realization that I am unwilling to brake as late as the faster guys with this mod

UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Truly magnificent!!! Reducing the braking pressure % helps a lot to brake easily. I think its around 80% on my setup.
