This is the only thing that can me little to distract from the historical themes! Although this championship is history!

I used to follow the European series in the 1990s, it was some quite nice racing I must say. A shame they had a 100 mph speed limiter though.

I have no doubt that the historical truck racing was no less spectacular and interesting. I hope we ever appreciate it on a virtual race track!

Hehe yeah I always liked bikers who turned to car racing so I rooted for Parrish .
There was a decent Truck racing video game in the late 1990s early 2000s. Can't remember the name though, but I was good fun and had all the trucks and tracks of the real series which was nice.

Excellent J'adore le son des moteurs turbo Indycar. Dommage que les caisses soient si moches.

Gilles Villeneuve, the driver who managed to get Bernd Rosemeyer's reputation out of Jean-Pierre Jabouille's career . Probably the most overrated driver of all time... Still, nice helmet !

Good proof of it is that Jaques achieved more than him
But seriously, I always thought Jaques was a good driver and deserved champion. His CART campaigns in 94 and 95 showed some talent and versatility, and in F1 only his stubborness to go with the BAR nightmare deprived him from more success. Kind of what Fittipaldi did, throwing his F1 career into the dust bin
What he did/said after his prime years is a different story, though
