I didn't know Oulton Park was quite that old! It looks so much nicer than modern tracks!

Some old videos from this part of the world (in Spanish, but nice videos)
Chilean F4 Championship 1984
Chilean F3 in a Crazy Street Circuit
Chilean Turismo Carretera 1991
Would pay for any of these cars in rfactor...

HAHAHa, yeah, its only the name. Originally it had the technical specs for F3 (in the 70s or 80s), the name remained but the cars didnt.

Probably for the best, Formula 3 is getting too expensive nowadays and getting small grids.

That's why Gerhard Berger was appointed by the FIA to bundle forces in the F3 classes. I think the Austrian and the Italian F3 championships have already disappeared as a result.
Established was the European F3 Open(which replaced the Euroseries), but there are still other F3 championships like the British, Japanese aswell as the ATS F3-Cup in Germany, which isn't an official German championship.
Actually, a long time ago, my father was kind of helping a friend on a one-off appearance in F3 in Diepholz.

Austrian F3 was still running last year, but their website has been down for some time since and the Italian F3 was replaced by F.Abarth at the end of 2012.
Euro F3 Open replaced Spanish F3, Euroseries was replaced by the FIA European Championship for the drivers with financial backing from massive companies, and the British, Japanese and German F3 all have minimal grid sizes

wow I'm so surprised a modern F3 car can catch fire like that..but it was a heavy impact for sure! First I thought: '''what you mean saving his life?'' Although the car was on his side against a barrier I saw no immidiate danger because the monocoques are so strong these days...never thinking it was gong to catch fire after! In the 60s and 70s drivers greatest fear was fire after an impact...but now we are all used to good strong cars, fire never comes to mind after an impact...at least not with me

sadly there is only very little of the 1976 German GP (Nordschleife) race to find on the web, but this is great german amateur footage...even Niki Lauda on his last lap before his accident

Apparently, the other cars didn't even have the chance to test the gravel traps, they couldn't even complete half a lap
