Hello!

As mentioned in the "How did you find HSO" section, I found your site while looking for information concerning which pony cars raced in which series.

I'm painting an rFactor Historix v1.9 Challenger for a friend and wanted proper decals to reflect the series that a Challenger would have run in back in the 70's. So far I've got SCCA Trans-AM and IMSA GT (using http://www.racingsportscars.com/type/results/Dodge/Challenger.html as a reference).

I came across race results from one of your events when I typed in "USAC Challenger" and decided to join since we have the same interest.

I've hosted an online league (Delta Sim Cup - Historic Era Racing Online) that's in it's 10 season have also hosted many fun runs with different sims and mods.

The league started with "NASCAR Legends" in 2003, moved to N2003 and the Aero88 mod in 2005 and then to the Grand National 70 mod in 2006. We currently run the GN69ST mod for N2003 and have also run series with the GN63_Cup, SNSC70_GNS mods and GPL.

An rFactor Historix v1.9 Trans-AM/Grand American series is in the works and I'm researching cars, tracks and such and that brought me here.

I hope to find a series that runs at a time I'm able to run and will then see you on the track!

Thx for the site! :hello:

Hello Dave Smile

Sadly we don't race pony cars very often, probably because they are less popular here in Europe.
We had a 1970 USAC series 2 years ago but it ended quickly because of the lack of interest, and the bad quality of the mod too to be honest. We had a pretty hardcore 2h30min Trans Am race earlier this year with the HGT 1.9 mod, a nice event even if people really struggled to keep those beast on the tarmac : http://historicsimracing.org/en/resultatscourse/581

Well, that depends he would win if at the start he wasn't seing a a bordeaux Mustang missing a braking point and going towards his rear end lol!

I still don't like the Mustang in HGT1.9... Unfinished model with very little range to tweak and very dynamically downgraded compared to the other cars

Yes I did Wink

That's why I said that; imagine that fragile Reynard having a massive Mustang on it's rear end lol!
