| Since Texas can hold several Western European countries within its borders we Texans kind of feel we are our own country. My name is Mike Becnel, I am 43 and live in a town called Sugar Land which is right next to Houston. I am in the Oil & Gas Industry and went to Louisiana State University. I was a Nuclear Engineer in the Navy aboard a nuclear aircraft carrier named the John C Stennis (CVN-74).
I have raced in real life quite a few times with the latest being in a series called the 24 hours of LeMons. It is extremely fun and rewards consistant clean driving. My race career is now somewhat over because my thryroid causes me to have extreme sensitivity to over heating. If you have raced in any heat before you know that this is bad.
I just started sim racing again about a month ago in Jerry Huffman's Nascar league ROAR. Jerry mentioned HSO during one of our post race discussions on team speak. I found the site, downloaded the Interseries mod and was instantly hooked.
I will likely not win many races as I am not usually the fastest but I will also likely not cause a lot of accidents and will finish most races I start.
