If things are true to the real championship back in 1998, then the Penske should also be good at high speed ovals. The superspeedway configuration on the PC27 was actually quite good in Michigan and California, but the Mercedes engine sadly not powerful enough ...

despite i like the names i dont like the pacwest livery.

still i will go for pacwest and post it there. maybe i can persuade another driver (the same who crashed our car in the 6 hour race ) to join, but he always states his desinterest in racing. he has practice enough , compared to me anyways...

But I have a guts feeling that the one who starts last in this race will be a lucky guy ... the mess in the 1st turn for the middle of the pack threatens to be epic

I did not mention it but i'm using the Realfeel plugin with this mod. If you guys want to give it a shot here are the files : ftp://91.121.135.76/rFactor/Realfeel%20CART.rar . Put the ini file in your rFactor root directory, and the dll in the plugin directory. Martin tried it last night and felt much more confortable with the car. If you dont like it, just delete the files.

I also forgot to mention that autoblip and autolift are allowed with those car, you can activate them in your PLR file.
Je ne l'ai pas dit mais j'utilise le plugin Realfeel avec ce mod. Si vous voulez essayer j'ai mis les fichiers ici : ftp://91.121.135.76/rFactor/Realfeel%20CART.rar . Mettez le fichier ini dans le repertoire de base de rFactor, et la dll dans le dossier Plugins. Martin a essayé hier soir et s'est tout de suite senti plus à l'aise avec la voiture. Si vous n'aimez pas vous n'avez qu'à supprimer les fichiers.

Aussi je ne l'ai pas mentionné, mais autolift et autoblip sont autorisés avec ces voitures, vous pouvez les activer dans votre fichier PLR.

Softs and 2 pitstops is the right strategy.

Thx mate was not sure if going for 3 stops, and 1 stop is ruled out due to fuel tank size ...

Race server launched

Having missing both qualifying sessions, i started in the far back of the grid and managed to avoid all of the initial accidents. But the race ended quickly for me unfortunately.
Ben hit me from behind just before the turn that leads to the pit straight, and my car went directly towards the wall. With the left wheel lost and the front wing broken, i couldn't manage to get ouf of the sand to try a repair in the pits. Ben fairly waited for me (thanks for that m8 ), but only a truck could get my car out of the escape area.
