Mod idea

I have always thought about making an early 70's Indycar mod but lack of time and work on other mods has always prevented it. Good luck with your project.
I have Lola and Reynard car models from 1993 that I made years ago if anyone is interested in using them. I think that they only need wheels making to finish them. 1993 was Indycars best year IMHO.

Reynard from 1993 ? I think 94 was the first year of Reynard chassis.
Anyway, a 93 Lola would cover almost the field and is useful for 94 and even Indy 95

I suck in modeling cars, so I never really tried to work on a mod. But I'd mind trying to finish some details and integrate a car in game

I've been looking for blueprints of Indycars from that era, but I'm not having any luck. I may have to shell out for the nice models and do some measurements...

Sorry, I meant Penske not Reynard.
The cars already run in rFactor. I will have a look later for some images etc.
There is also a 1993 Indy Pacecar Camero.

I will have a look and see what I have later. I have a M23 model that could be used as a base for an indycar.

Here are my 1993 Indycars.
The Penske is textured it just needs skins making for it.
PM me if you think that you can finish the mod.

Yep, speedway wings also.

I've only found : Eagle-Offenhauser Indy 500 (1968) and Eagle-Offenhauser Indy 500 (1975) blueprints. But this blueprints have only the side wiew.

I may just buy scale models and take measurements. I've been wanting some for my collection anyway

Yes Jason, keep going with this mod, you are correct it would be unique for rFactor, no one has ever made a 70's Indy car mod for it. looking forward to it.
