I had a bunch of problems all of a sudden (and wasn't alone, it seems). Runtime errors, graphics issues and general CTD problems, about ten time in a row. A combination of a demanding mod, a track with a crowded pitlane, and the large field, I suspect.

I thought if I survived the session changeover (warmup to race) I just might be able to stay connected, but sadly it was not to be.

====

Best of luck to the rest of you, and I hope those who can race have fun--I certainly did myself during the two qual sessions at least.

Thanks HSO, as always.

I also get this piece SH&% error.

Got freezed and CTDed a few times tonight but in the end I learned something - that now I really understand this kid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bg9uNYwoJ3o

Well, complete reinstall would probably do the trick. :smil20:

Apparemment j'ai trop tiré sur le moteur au rétrogradage... course terminée, moteur explosé Sad Dommage les bagarres avec notamment Jukka étaient super sympas Very Happy

Apparently I was exploiting the engine too much on my downshifts, engine died Sad Too bad, I had a great battle with Jukka Very Happy

Jesus what a nightmare, raced almost all the time with the engine temperature in red pale . Pop-up warnings distracted me and made me lose concentration, and I was not confortable due to having to nurse the car so much. I also lost the front spoiler after having to go off track to avoid a spinning car in front of me (Actually not his fault at all, but rather mine as I chose the most difficult way to make it through, but I thought he was entering the track completely -which he correctly did not attemp)

Got some nice fights with Carl, who fell back, JF Bovy and others, but then exited in a turn and when Carl was passing me we made slight contact and it seems it caused a punture. Too far away from the pits and too dangerous for the others to limp back into the boxes, so I decided to quit. :smil20:

Some Nice battles if i could turn back the clock i probably should have braked when i saw Alberto start to spin but i thought i had enough room to sneak thru the gap we made slight contact and i got a puncture i managed to crawl to the pits but a pitstop was 200 seconds so decided to quit ....

I Also forgot what corner i was on at one point and missed a gear change ploughed straight into the wall
Sorry Alberto Wink

Great Race :D Great Track :D Great Car :D Unlucky driver Sad

The opening laps were brilliant fun fighting with Paul, JB, Gerard and Frank who did well after starting from the back of the grid.

After ten laps or so I started feeling a bit tired and my laptimes dropped some, allowing Paul to pull away. However, apart from tiny mistakes here and there, mostly missing the apex or going a bit wide at the exit, I wasn't too worried about my situation. Engine was fine, hadn't over-revved it yet and tire wear was manageable Smile

Then, entering the right-hander over the brow I put my left-side tires on the grass, went wide and despite doing my best to slow down and avoid contact kissed the barrier: Engine kaput :grrr: Sad I was really enjoying it until then, I'm angry now

What is a bit worrying is that we're supposed to be the best Historic Simracers in the world and yet after a handful of laps there were barely a dozen cars still running lol!

Right before the pace lap, the game became ridiculously choppy on my end. I could hardly keep the car on the track, let alone drive it at speed. I hoped it would clear up after the green, but predictably, it did not. Ended my race in the tire barrier at the bottom of the hill. Never had this happen online before. I gather some other people had similar problems...

To be truthful, I wasn't really looking forward to 2+ hours of fighting the Mustang... So it's just as well...

Well, race started a bit akward... Started 9th. I had contact with someone on my back. But no great consequences.
Later I was fighting in top 5 / 6 lo, then I lost concentration hit the wall  Had lots of damage in the front and the car started to understeer a lot. But you know me I'm a fighter... :cowboy2: so I kept going in 7th I guess. After the guys started to pit I found myself in 2nd in a ruined car with spare fuel... kept going until I pit when Gui did. When I parked the car I was Shocked !! 192 sec. to repair, and I could not choose not to scratch
Again.. I'm not a quiter. :yaa: ...was frustrating watching myself loose 5 positions in the pits.
I came back in 7th and stay there untill the engine Blowned Suspect it was lap 45 :bangry:
Congratilations to Gui and everyone! :top:
Tks HSO :hello:
ohhh by the way... we are the best historical simracers of the world!!! We are
