Special Race ** POLL / SONDAGE **

Hi all

While talking with the guys about the old days of simracing and our common simracing souvenirs, came the evocation of a GPL race held almost ten years ago in the league where we (HSO admins) all met. This race was special in that it was restricted to the wifes & girlfriends of the league's regular drivers.

So we thought about doing an event along those lines :

- team of two drivers, one man, one woman
- two short races (15 mins), one for the ladies, the other for the gents
- overall standings based on aggregate of two heats
- spec mod & accurate race : R8 Gordini at Albi for instance

Before we set a date or anything we need to know if there would be enough people interested in participating, so please vote .

Sorry, not to be negative but my wife simply can't do this. She gets seasick when looking at the screen with everything in motion ...

We don't have to restrict this to wives and girlfriends, maybe we can include sisters, friends, grand mothers , etc.

Maybe we'll include a "Lonely Hearts Consolation Race" to open the evening

Better hold the race soon while we haven't yet killed ourselves

What if I were to find a randomer off the street? The only woman that would probably incline to this venue that I know of

My only problem with this is how do you prove whoever races has a lady friend with them i know my eldest daughter would give it a try

I Just asked my daughter and she said yes as long as its in a Mini Cooper and not the Historic version either she's a bit of a petrolhead like her dad but she never raced in rfactor before

It's probably going to be the HGTTC R8 Gordini, kinda like the French Mini

I've just «negotiated» with my wife and we are on!
She says she will need a mounth to practice
I sugest the damage is off for the ladys... lol my wife is afraid of walls
For the record she never tried this, and shes not easy on me with this racing thing.. so maybe she will understand why we got this virus
The question is, how to do this without cheating? I really would like to know how she would do against your ladys

Maybe we could use team speak that should sort out the men from the women ....

There's nothing to win so cheating in that kind of event would be really stupid... And anyway the gap of speed between dudes and ladies should be really big, so it'd be easy to spot cheating.
