You should have seen our first round at Laguna Seca. 30 ft wide track with guard rails most of the way around. For us inexperienced drivers, it was more a matter of keeping the car on the course rather than going fast!

Alessio, try this setup. I put it together for my friend Shawn who ran the number 14 Surtees at Watkins Glen.

The principle problem with this car is the engine overrun when you lift off the throttle; it makes the car unstable in corners. I countered this by cutting back on the differential coast setting. The camber is set asymmetrical to favor right turns over left, which should help in the one long, sweeping right turn at Road America. You may need to adjust the spring settings to get stability under acceleration... also, try setting the wings to 3 (front) and 4 (rear)

There are not a lot of different wings settings available but they have a big influence on the car's behaviour. Putting more rear wing will help a lot to get a stable car under acceleration.

Of course the problem with putting more rear wing in the car is that you lose straight line speed. At Watkins Glen I put too much wing in my car and I was a sitting duck on the long back straight

Does anyone have any suggestions and feedback on my lap? How can I improve to reach at least 5 seconds from Guillaume's Alien lap time??

There are lots of fast turns where you upshift right on the exit of the corner, that means you could have go through the turn with that gear (most of the time 3rd gear, 4th gear in the fast right kink at the end of sector 2) and have a more stable car through this turn.

The main thing I notice in you lap Alessio, is the hesitation going out of the corners, you start accelerating too soon, and have to lift before giving the gas again, that costs some time

Your brakes sound like they are locking up try moving the brake bias slightly more to the back
