Subject: Re: DRM - Schedule Sun 12 Feb 2012 - 18:44
Wanted to test Hockenheim online today but my car falls into emptiness right after the pit lane. There simply is no track textures - only pit lane textures.
I tried to overwrite the track twice after downloading it from the forum ant it still does not work.
Do you guy get the same error or have you managed to fix it or is it just me?
Thanks

Can you post a picture with the problem? I didn't see bugs on track.

I have had this problem for the DRM Hockenheim race. The solution was to completely remove the folder of the track (in Rfactor/gamedata/locations) and then reinstall the track. I think the problem comes from a non-existing tarmac texture.

I seem to recall the problem arose if you installed the '88 version of the track alongside
Hey Jukka,
this was obviously the problem as I have had two different Hockenheim tracks to select - #9 and #10 - these were the right one and the 88' from the last season with a chicane.
So thanks guys for the help, p

Arf... Bon sang, ce championnat DRM me tente comme un diable, mais courir 2 championnats, c'est pas facile... C'est possible de participer épisodiquement aux épreuves ?

Oui bien sûr, mais il faut juste garder la même voiture à chaque fois que tu viens
Q about that rule that I wanted to ask for some time:
Is it possible to use as wildcard different cars of the same model? I mean, if f.e. a driver without a car booked can f.e. pick for single races any M1 of someone who is not able to race that day (As long as the same driver always uses free M1s and not other models in the same championship)

I don't know if I've well understood your question. But the rule says : Changing of car during the championship will be tolerated under exceptional circumstances only. Also, in the event of a driver announcing his absence to a given race, his car will not be made available for another driver. After for special case, admins discuss among themselves to give or not a car. I hope, it was the answer you're waiting.

Ahh OK, I did not remember that rule, now all is clear
I just asked because since we always are told to announce if we will be present or not for the races, I though the reason was to allow other guys to drive the car if available for that event.
Now I see, but was it like that last year, or is that a rule change?
