Round 14 - Montréal

Bonjour,

Désolé du ton colérique de mon post d'hier...
AUx autres courses la voiture ne réagissait pas comme ça, ou en tout cas pas aussi violemment... là je suis désolé, mais je n'arrive pas à la contrôler, j'ai pas terminé un tour hier, et prendre le départ ce soir, c'est risquer la course des autres pilotes (quand ils me prendront un tour, si je suis en vrac)...
Forfait donc

I'm suffering since yesterday a lot from my back injury. so I will start the race but even if I don't crash I might retire some time after if the pain is unsustainable

I will drive the #2 Lotus tonight just to give it a try

Not a good evening for the Arrows team

I was confortably leading despite a lot of micro freezes on every corner, i lost the car just after half distance when lapping Alberto at the first chicane and i bent the steering, it was pulling 45° to the left, despite that i managed to keep a decent rhythm in 1'37s that would have given me an easy 2nd place at the end, but i spun again at the second chicane and game over

Was having a nice race but had to pit for personal reason

So, 60 laps for me with some errors and finally lost all concentration and hit a barrier while going 5th (Of the remaining 5 cars, of course LOL) ... well not that bad for me, thought I would last much less.

Carlo I hope I wasn't the cause for your accident, saw you spin well ahead of me so I suppose not. Sorry if I held you a bit but I was trying to keep Antoine more behind and you were far in the lead so I was waiting till the straight to let you through and lose less time.

@Roman: Great fight at the beginning, hope I made it always clean for you

I did all on my own, no worries m8

Alberto, yes so nice and clean fight.
During the race I dropped to fifth and six place.
Then came the mistakes of others, some have fallen away and left me for a second .............
Good six points in total order.

No problem JF it was only small bump,not any damage,was good race,i was lucky to get the car home after i hit wall on lap 23,and took front wing off and rear suspension damage,so did last 49 laps with no front wing and steering wheel at 45 degrees so i was well happy with

Congrats Vincent, spectacular race in the Tyrrell

This race was for me the most long race of the year, but i cant finish it , 75 laps are very hard on this track for me towards the 30 laps I started to feel tired but did not want to leave from the race, i was start with STOP/and Go penalty because i have cut the 3/4 curve (sorry dont know their names ),
I m happy because i have try to use the HSO controller(.ini) setting for my SteeringWheel and now i have more feeling with them, my time are more better, no fast but at least in the race.
I hope to stay on track for the next race

I really had great fun last night, took a good start from 12th to 8th in the first lap without drama, then had some great clean battles with whoever was around. I found the car a bit loose on braking and almost collected Jan while spinning in the last chicane Then I fought hard to catch Alexandre (great pace with the Alfa ) and Alberto. Retiremens meant I found myself in 4th and last at some point, and my tyres were so cooked there was absolutely no hope of catching Steve and Roman some 20s ahead of me. So I just chilled, parked it and had a smoke, then went out again on fresh rubbers to try and get the fastest lap. No luck though Anyway, grats to the podium, and especially Vincent on a great win I was delighted to be a part of this race and finish 4th

When I retired my tyres weren't as cooked as I had expected, but the error I made in the setup was not opening the brake ducts and increasing disc size from what I had for qualifying. When you passed me after spinning, I had arrived there with brakes at 1000º+ while trying to keep you behind I had to go up and down with lap times all race, depending on wether my brakes were fading or not, sometimes I needed to let them cool down one or two full laps before going quicker again.

Lesson learned for the Glen :raclure:

Belle bagarre dans notre groupe de Alberto, Roman, à toi et bibi.

J'espere n'avoir gené personne lorsque j'ai continuer de rouler avec mon italienne defigurée

Dommage j'avais 1 ou 2 points dans le viseur, ca sera pour le Glen pour lequel je serais mieux preparé (ca sera pas dur )

Peut être je viens pour le Glen, c'est la dernière course HSO F1 79 quand même.
