Changes

OK so it's time to take actions regarding this series which suffers from a big lack of regular entries and overall interest... and is a pain in the neck to admin due to its weekly schedule.

There are three options :

Option 1 : we lighten the end of season schedule by doing only half of the remaining races, and keep the Finals date on December 19. This would give the following schedule :

Sep 26 Grand Prix of Virginia
Oct 3 Atlantic Coast Championship
Oct 10 October Rennen
Oct 31 Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières
Nov 21 Nassau Speed Weeks Nassau
Nov 28 Nassau Speed Weeks Nassau
Dec 19 American Road Race of Champions

Option 2 : we cancel all the remaining races and go straight to the ARRC Finals on September 26. The qualified drivers for each class will be determined by taking into account the championship standings as of today. This will leave the October, November and December months free to do Open Events with the HGTTC mod.

Option 3 : we change nothing ^^

Personally I like the weekly monday race because that way I can race all weeks, as the TCL and PROCAR championships in which I participate are each two weeks.

But if that is too much workload for the admins, then I agree with whatever you guys want to do but would suggest Option 1 if possible.

I can't race each and every Monday, but in Option 1 (the one i voted) according to my personal schedule i'll be there on 4 of the 7 remaining races , Option 2 would be ok for me if the date of the only race would be later in the year (from mid October onwards)

bien que je comprenne et partage les difficultés des admins et des pilotes à trouver de la motivation tous les lundis, j'ai décidé de ne pas en tenir compte: j'aime ce ("petit") championnat tel qu'il est (ou qu'il est devenu), y compris son côté très dilletante
et puis je m'amuse presqu'à chaque fois quand j'suis là (même si une ou l'autre soirée à 5 sur la piste, c'était un peu déprimant... mais on dira que j'ai l'habitude avec d'autres championnats )

quoi qu'il arrive, je serai sans doute aux prochaines ou à la prochaine soirée(s)

I Have made my vote and i have to say if it's anything like last night with plenty of drivers attending
i would be happy for the season to run until the end

But if the field starts or gets any smaller
i would definatly choose the 1st Option ....

option 2 pour moi et que j'ai voté , en pensant peut etre a quelques opens du style IMSA76 de l'année dernière avec des courses au moins d'1 heure et si possible une de nuit j en gardais un bon souvenir au niveau de l'immersion

LOL Frank why did you ask ? Now you have the old problem, what to do with the championsip, and a NEW one, how to please a majority

We'll have a compromise if Frank agrees, I mean chocie n°1

Perhaps we should give Frank the deciding vote No Pressure

The Majority says option 2 and 3 perhaps we should have another poll now
just with these 2 options open ...
