GPL TV

J'essaye d'installer GPL TV sur le serveur, mais il y a quelque chose qui ne va pas.
En effet, GPL TV server voit les pilotes qui se connectent, mais en revanche, le serveur n'apparait pas dans la liste de GPL TV côté client

J'ai essayé plusieurs choses, sans succès, donc s'il y a des spécialistes dans le coin ....

nb: le serveur est un dédié qui est controllé à distance.

Dans l'ini de la version server, il y a ce paramètre:

tu as joins le serveur? Apparemment il n'apparait que s'il y a des pilotes qui roulent, enfin c'est ce que je comprends

We have some gpltv servers running and I suggest 3 things to review:

1.- requirements

GPLtvServer needs Winpcap (http://winpcap.polito.it) installed
on your system. It was tested with Winpcap 3.0, newer versions
should work too.

2.- GPLtvServer.ini on the server

3.- review the dns of the server

3a.- launch nslookup on the server (Start --> Execute --> type nslookup & intro)
3b.- c:\winnt\system32\NSLOOKUP.exe opens in a window to let you ask for dns,s ---> type gpltv.virtualracing.org and push intro
3c.- nslookup should answer address 80.190.209.206 .... if not you have a dns problem on the server and should ask the administrator of the server

Thanks Jose Luis, I will check the DNS of the server today !

All is ok with DNS and gpltvserver.ini .... but it still doesn't work

Still another thing to review ... the server should be behind a firewall ... maybe port 32001 should be openned at the firewall and routed to the server where you have gpl and gpltv

tomorrow I will check ports on my firewalls and I confirm this here

Ah, it looks quite tricky to make sure the race is available to watch on GPLtv..

Confirmed .... "tcp" traffic to port 32001 on the firewall must be redirected to the 32001 port (as defined in gpltvserver.ini) on the IP of the server where gpltv and gpl operates ....
