As Carl said in the rules topic, the first race is postpone to the June 5th, and the race in Avus is postpone to the June 19th.

Martin, just a precision: The PROCARS raced in the Donington national layout (i.e. the circuit's short variant), but the HSO Donington I downloaded, while a great track, seems to only have the international (Long, GP) variant. If you calculated laps from total race time this could also have an influence, as there would be a need to actually do more laps.

Its a very good track this one from nogripracing.it has been released today,i think.we should use this version,national layout included as Steve said.

The nogrip track is indeed great lookinga nd well done, only minor issue is that it reflects the modern day Donington and not the one where the Procars raced in 1980. BUt if I have to chose between the historically correct look and the historically correct layout I go with the layout any day

BTW Martin, what about the Donington layout? If we run 30 laps in the only layout of the download track, the race will be longer than real life. We need a version with national (short) one.

I'll test the new layout given by Steve tomorrow, and then update this thread if we change or not

I just checked the details from the Nogrip track and it seems it includes modern changes done to the Donington layout, not just cosmetic and buildings: "sometime
back both layouts were changed at "Foggy Esses" and the way national track now joins the main straight"



Can't someone here at HSO do a quick modification to the HSO Donington to simply remove the barrier and allow no penalty going through it? (Since it is a solid barrier I bet there is not even a penalty for going through it) Even if it has no AI, we do not need it for online racing and the change should be quite straightforward.

I just checked next Sunday's track -Avus- and found that the layout used is from the 90s, short before it was finally closed. This means that while both turns are correct the straights are too short and the track is lapped in around 55 seconds, instead of the historical 2:15 of the 4.9 km track that was used in the 80s.

Please if there is no better version available, take this into account as otherwise doing the historic number of laps (15) will make the race way too short.

There will be 50 laps sunday.

Ah OK, but if there is a longer one around, can someone point me to it? Would like to try it
