Safety

We will be starting the race Single File Staggered to assist in eliminating the first lap incidents. You MUST start with a minimum of a .5 - 1 second gap to the driver in front of you . If a driver is too close at the start, or causing problems, we may consider restarting the race. No pass in the first few corners is going to win the race for you.


Chatting

During, Qualifications and Race, no chatting whatsoever will be tolerated. Even to warn other drivers that you're exiting/entering pits, or to thank a lapper for letting you through. If you do chat, you will receive a warning

A bit of history : Last round of the Nissan Triple Crown, the GP de Trois-Rivières in Québec will replace the GP du Mardi Gras originally held in 1991. Tight street track and french-speaking background as a common point between both events.

It is not likely that I'll race today.
I'm commited to rest of the series though.

The race server is launched (pass : hso91) but there will be no admin on the serv for the start so keep it clean guys and have fun

Only 4 guys showed up and no admin, so everyone present decided to postpone the race to next week. Maybe more guys available by then. Please advise.

Hi guys,..sorry for not having been on line, on the forum or turning up to race,..in fact I was concerned that I would have to 'Miss' the Trois' round, even though I already Had !!,..lol

I have been spending quite a bit of time, up the coast, looking after my Mum, so in some ways, I am pleased that this round has been 'ditched', as apart from the family issues, I have Never really liked that track, or enjoyed running on it, either in rFactor, this or anything,..somehow, I really feel I Wouldn't like it in Real Life Either !!!,.. ,..Stupidly Bumpy skinny silly little circuit,..perfect for Formula Fords etc,..I dunno', just not My cup of Tea,..

Guess I'm ardently a Hardened Old Fashioned Circuit guy,..Stupid Fast Open Circuits, Silverstone, Spa, Osterreichring, Monza,..oh Heck, you know,..it's What I grew up on reading about!!,..Just like the Pictures at the Top of this Forum!,..lol

Anyway,..Definitely looking forward to Watkins Glen,..one of My all time Favourite US tracks !!

The version of the circuit is a bit odd,..I don't think I have ever driven on that Exact version,..I would have imagined the Group C/IMSA cars would have run on the 'Boot' circuit, or atleast with the Chicane on the Back straight.

Anyway,..will definitely do my best to be at Watkins with Hopefully Plenty of practice !!

Will have to move accomodation over the next month or so as well,..so it could be rather tricky,..Will keep you 'Posted'.
